Le Cadeau "Red Label" Pinot NoirThe 2016 "Red Label" Pinot Noir is an estate collaboration between winemakers Jim Sanders and Steve Ryan. Crafted from 100% estate-grown fruit, this vintage of Red Label gave an opportunity to select ten barrels from almost every block of Le Cadeau Vineyard - fruit that is typically destined from Cote Est, Diversite, and Rocheaux. The result is a beautiful, small-production representation of the exquisite vineyard sites.
92 Points "Refined and expressive, with black cherry, orange peel, and violet aromas, and well-built red plum and spiced cinnamon flavors. Drink now through 2024." - T.F., Wine Spectator

Jim Sanders and Tom Mortimer. Friends and winegeeks.
Aubichon is meticulous, hand-crafted, time-inefficient Willamette Valley winemaking by Jim Sanders since 2007. Centered around friendships and sourced only from select vineyard sites, Aubichon features distinguished small-production Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris from all AVAs of the Willamette Valley. In a word, Aubichon wines are "artisinal" ...if there is an easy way to do something, chances are we didn't do it that way. You will benefit from the detailed quality of our labor!
The two 2007 Pinot Noir wines represent the inaugural releases from Aubichon Cellars – a Willamette Valley cuvee and a Reserve cuvee. Our focus began on the Reserve Pinot Noir, with a specific barrel selection coming later to create the "Willamette Valley" and help elevate the quality of the final Reserve. Having had the same treatment and heritage as the Aubichon Reserve wine, the "Willamette Valley" cuvee became a hit as well and has remained in our line-up ever since. These two Pinots were eventually accompanied by single-vineyard bottlings starting in 2013, Alsatian-inspired Pinot Gris in 2014, and lightly-oaked Chardonnay in 2015.
