The region of Saint-Emilion AC, famous for its red wines, is located around the village of Saint-Emilion, 40km northeast of Bordeaux, on the right bank of the Dordogne. Chateau Fleur de Lisse is owned by the Minvielle Family since the 1960’s.
Traditional fermentation, vatting in concrete vats.
Intense, brilliant color with youthful highlights. The attractive bouquet has red fruit and toasty overtones. The wine starts out straightforward and lively, showing beautiful tannic structure. Round and smooth. A pleasant aftertaste reinforces the overall impression of balance.
When young and vigorous, Chateau Fleur de Lisse is enjoyable with practically all dishes, with the exception of blue cheeses. When older, it is best served with game or an entrecote steak. When at its peak, it is ideal with a roast or leg of lamb, and after that, it is a treat with poultry.
