Description
Really intense aromatics of pomegranate and Bing cherry with a delicate hint of sexy toasted oak. The attach is all red fruit compot. Reminiscent of a bowl of strawberries, cranberries, and cherry pie filling dusted with a hint of cinnamon. There is considerable amount of Pinot richness and sweetness as you would expect. The acidity is well balanced and helps preserve the sensation of velvet well into the finish. There isn’t a better wine to celebrate the holidays, or anything for that matter. Serve with a bit of a chill on it, so a few minutes in the fridge shouldn’t be out of the question. Pairs well with turkey, ham, salmon, and perhaps a mushroom-laden pasta dish.
