100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Bright red/crimson with a dark hue.
The aroma is vibrant, lifted, fruit driven with jubey fruits, strawberry and creamy blueberry. Dry tea leaf and herbs are also evident. This is an easy drinking wine displaying varietal purity. The palate is fruit driven, generous, lively with soft balanced acid and fine grain tannins that integrate with the fruit flavors.
Pair with veal with pomegranate glaze and roasted vegetables.
Vineyard, site and parcel selection is critical with all wines made at Gemtree. For Dragon’s Blood only sites that display varietal expression, concentration, and finesse were selected.
