Description
Cabernet is all about elegance. This bottle perfectly demonstrates Rolando’s mastery of producing vibrant award-winning Cabernets. Lush and well-structured, this wine is meant to age in your cellar.
Starting in the Vineyard…
Cabernet grapes from four different vineyards are blended, three in Coombsville appellation, in order to achieve a perfectly balanced and structured wine. Coombsville is one of the newest, and most promising, appellations in Napa with a temperate climate which allows for longer and slower ripening. Grapes from Oak Knoll’s warmer climate add a touch of richness to the wine and contribute to the smooth and elegant texture.
To the Cellar…
This wine is aged for 24 months in 55% new French oak barrels and bottle-conditioned for 12 months. This extended aging allows for the tannins to soften and creates a rounded mouthfeel.
In Your Glass…
Great classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon aromas of black fruit, coffee, and chocolate lead into rich layers of ripe berries, nutmeg, black pepper, and caramel. Velvety and well-balanced, with approachable tannins and beautiful oak integration, this is a wine to be enjoyed for years to come.
On Your Table…
It’s Cab – where’s the beef? Besides the obvious ribeye we dream of every time we drink this wine, try braised lamb shanks with creamy mashed potatoes, eggplant Parmesan, and gingerbread for dessert.
