100% Chardonnay
The 2015 Enchantress Chardonnay is from the nearly 40-year-old Wente-clone Chardonnay vines of French Creek Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. Each vintage this vineyard provides with the intense fruit that allows us to produce this old-world-styled Chardonnay. The wine is fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels for 11 months. It remains on the original lees the entire time to increase mouthfeel and richness. The resulting wine is golden in color, and has aromas and flavors of fresh cut green apple and pears, along with exotic spices and ripe, tropical fruit like pineapple and guava on the palate. The fruit component is backed by wet stone minerality from the underlying basalt bedrock at French Creek. Enjoy now through 2025.
