Description
The entire idea is to piece together a wine that is lush, rich, and offers an explosion of fruit in the mouth. This is a cuvee that is remarkably similar to the original bottlings of this wine. Big, dark flavors and a density of sweetness are the principle hallmarks of Stephen Vincent Crimson. The varietal composition and appellation breakdown may change from vintage to vintage, but the goal will always be to produce a wine that over-delivers in yumminess!
Aromatics of blueberry galore with notes of black cherry, rhubarb, and anise with hints of chocolate. Flavors are dark and brooding with blueberry pie filling and chokeberry jam being predominately featured. The tannins are particularly lush and melting with seamless consistency throughout. Solid thread of acidity guarantees a lengthy finish.
Pair with a grill-fired NY strip steak, hamburgers with bleu cheese mixed into the meat, or some big sausages with some spicy heat on top.
