Full-bodied and juicy, this Lodi Zinfandel offers up dark fruit flavors of blackberry bramble and bing cherry. The American and French oak is nicely integrated with young tannins that highlight cassis and five-spice.
The grapes for this wine come from two of Jim Ledbetter’s Vino Farms vineyards in the Lodi Valley.
The grapes were yeasted and tank fermented at cool temperatures. Multiple daily pump overs allowed for color and flavor extraction. The must was then pressed to barrel for 18 months in a combination of American and French oak.
