Description
This Sonoma County Merlot has aromas of black cherry and mocha. Flavors of raspberry, plum, and vanilla are complemented by the medium tannins and moderate acidity.
The grapes for this wine come primarily from a single vineyards in Dry Creek Valley in northern Sonoma County.
The grapes were yeasted and tank fermented at cool temperatures. Multiple daily pump overs allowed for color and flavor extraction. The must was then pressed to barrel in a combination of American and French oak.
