Winemaker’s Notes: All of the Syrah in this version of Tried And True Table wine comes from the Walla Walla Valley. Mostly from Les Collines (higher elevation) but also from a vineyard on the Oregon side of the AVA called Cali (lower elevation). The Syrah was barrel aged in French and neutral cooperage. The Cabernet is from a mix of vineyards scattered throughout the Columbia Valley. It was fermented and aged in tank.
The wine is a combination of 2014, 2013, and 2012 vintages.
The labels, always changing, feature the work of skilled tattoo artists.
“This wine is mostly Syrah along with dashes of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Aromas of blueberry, cherry and a spice top note are followed by plush, forward blue-fruit flavors that linger on the finish. Drink now.” – S.S. Wine Enthusiast, 89 points
