Aromas convey ripe berry, menthol, game and a balsamic note. On the palate, notes of clove, black pepper and licorice add depth to the juicy Morello cherry core. A green note of powdered sage appears alongside bracing, drying tannins that create an astringent finish.
Maximum Losappio primary Montalcino hospital surgeon and his wife, Marialuce philosophy teacher, bought the villa in 1980 and driven by passion for wine and the pleasure of sharing with friends the fruit of this generous land, they planted the first hectare of vineyard near the Villa.
Subsequently, in the absolute desire to gather in a single bottle the authentic atmosphere of the territory of Montalcino,
they were planted two more vineyards in the Castelnuovo dell’Abate area and acquired a quarter vineyard near the Villa.
These four vineyards in three different areas, are the perfect combination of elegance and altitude perfumes and body and the structure of the soil to the south of Montalcino.
